Since I was a young girl my mother instilled in me a need and desire to help those less fortunate. Though
I was dressed in thrift store clothing and hand me downs, my mother had the ability to always look at the
bright side, seeing a glass as half full.
As I got older and had children of my own, I too attempted to instill that same value. That all people are
special and should be treated as such.
So began my quest to make a positive loving difference in the world, starting with my own back yard.
Sometimes...the simplest gestures and gifts of kindness reach the farthest into the heart.

Copperopolis Community Food Pantry
Our local food pantry manages to feed an incredibly large amount of people with funds
mostly donated from the local residents and the once a year 'fill the boot' that our local fire
department graciously hosts. Without this food pantry, many would be without basic
necessities.
